This week in Warsaw, I met Polish pensioner Kristina and her friends, busy making Ukrainian flag solidarity ribbons. "I"m too poor to give money and too old to hold a gun," Kristina explained, "so I do what I can for the refugees. Partly, because I fear for my own tomorrow."
