The 75-year-old, who was sworn in as prime minister on Nov. 24, promised to give up his salary as prime minister during the campaign, and pledged to fight corruption and focus on the economy. His Pakatan Harapan (Alliance of Hope) also vowed to eradicate corruption and repeatedly vowed not to work with tainted politicians in any future government.
